Volunteer: Food Pantry Volunteers Needed (Distribution) - Will County, IL

Serve alongside like-minded community volunteers who make a difference in the lives of 330 families every Saturday morning. Volunteer opportunities inside and outside.  Inside our large fellowship hall, gather and shop for shelf stable, refrigerated and frozen groceries.  Outside, load cars or help keep traffic flowing.  We are using a drive thru model utilizing social distancing and clients do not get out of their cars.  Face mask and gloves required, both provided.  Client population is growing significantly due to COVID-19 Crisis and we are seeing people who used to give to the pantry now waiting in line for food.  Email us at stjohnfood@gmail.com with questions or concerns.
