Community Visiting Volunteers provide friendship and support to isolated older adults and engage with them in in-person visits, events, or related activities each week. A Community Visiting Volunteer may visit assigned older adults in their home, engage older adults at an event, or accompany an older adult to and from their home to an event.
Community Visiting Volunteers commit to volunteering between 5 - 20 hours per week, depending on a volunteer's schedule. Successful completion of LBFE's volunteer orientation and a background screen are required.
