Through the AmeriCorps RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), a 55 and older volunteer program, come help the Community Nutrition Network by delivering meals to local seniors! There are plenty of seniors in our community who do not drive and need meals delivered to them. We are looking for volunteers willing to drive their own vehicle to deliver meals to seniors along a determined route. Community Nutrition Network and the pickup of meals is located at The Beecher Center in Yorkville.
Mileage reimbursement is available for eligible AmeriCorps RSVP volunteers.
