Volunteers are needed for:
- Front Desk Volunteers: In this role, volunteers primarily greet and direct patients to their respective rooms, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable during their visit to the healthcare facility.
- Emergency Department Volunteers: ED Volunteers assist in various tasks, including rounding patient's waiting areas, changing bed linens, restocking supplies, among other tasks. These are essential in ensuring smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
- Rotating Floor Volunteers: This position involves rounding on patients, offering assistance with various tasks, and providing support to our healthcare staff as needed.
The hospital is seeking volunteers who have good communication skills, friendly and willing to be helpful. Volunteers aged 55 or older are eligible for mileage reimbursement through AmeriCorps RSVP program.
