Do you love stargazing and sharing your knowledge of the night sky? We’re looking for amateur astronomers to bring their telescopes and help make the night magical at our Astronomy Jamboree on Saturday, August 9, from 8–11 pm at Friends Creek Conservation Area near Cisco, Illinois. Volunteers will set up their personal telescopes and help guests observe stars, planets, and other night sky wonders. This is a great opportunity to inspire curiosity, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and share your passion for astronomy with families and individuals of all ages.

What to Bring:
– Personal telescope(s)
– Any astronomy guides or tools you enjoy using
– A willingness to engage and educate the public
