Volunteer Opportunity
We're looking for friendly, motivated volunteers to help us connect with local businesses that may be interested in supporting QUED-UP's mission.
No fundraising or sales experience is required.
Your role is not to ask for donations or close sponsorships. Instead, you'll simply introduce QUED-UP, briefly explain our mission, and identify businesses that would like to learn more.
When a business expresses interest, you'll schedule a follow-up call with a member of the QUED-UP leadership team, who will handle the sponsorship conversation.
We provide:
- A phone call script
- Business contact lists
- Training and onboarding
- Ongoing support
- Scheduling instructions
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Make a minimum of 10 outreach phone calls per day
- Follow the provided call script
- Introduce QUED-UP and our student sponsorship campaign
- Identify interested businesses
- Schedule follow-up meetings with the QUED-UP team
- Record basic notes after each call
Weekly Expectations
- Complete your assigned outreach calls
- Schedule qualified follow-up conversations with interested businesses
- Attend a brief virtual team check-in (when scheduled)
- Communicate any questions or feedback with the volunteer coordinator
