Long-term fosters for kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs are needed. Fosters needed for at least two weeks. Fosters will need to be patient and understanding with animals. Food and medical care provided. 

We are in need of volunteers who can assist with disaster relief after a tornado hit our site. This includes physical labor for cleanup duties and separating debris. We especially need individuals who can operate chainsaws to cut down trees. 

If possible, please bring your own work gloves. 

You do not have to be present for the whole 9am-5pm shift. We appreciate any help you are able to offer between these hours.

We are in need of volunteers who can assist with disaster relief after a tornado hit our site. This includes administrative duties to help with a high demand of emails and calls.

Direct and monitor traffic of dumpsters full of garbage and tree limb or other disaster waste, city trucks, volunteers and other organizations so that staff and volunteers are working in a safe environment and individuals get in and out efficiently and effectively. Show visitors where to park and answer questions as needed. 

Assist staff and other volunteers in removing and returning disaster and other supplies (pet food, crates and taxis, etc.) in and out of the shed in order to organize any salvaged items.  

Whether it's cleaning supplies and equipment, pet food, building materials, or other items, keep all donations in order and in the designated area. Ensure that the donations needed for disaster cleanup are readily available and easy to access by staff and volunteers. Ensure that other supplies are kept safe from the elements. Run supplies or assist with getting supplies to the needed areas. 

Assist the volunteers and staff by providing water (keep coolers full) and snacks as needed. Fill in for volunteers on breaks or meals as needed. Keep water and snacks arranged and in order. Report if there are needed items. Other duties as requested.
