Who We Are

The Champaign County ReStore is Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County’s nonprofit home‑improvement store, offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and household goods at discounted prices. Every purchase and donation directly supports Habitat homebuilding in Champaign County while keeping usable items out of local landfills. Thanks to the ReStore and grant funding, 100% of donations to Habitat go directly toward building homes, community, and hope.

What We Do

Volunteers keep the ReStore thriving by processing donations, organizing merchandise, and assisting customers. It’s a flexible, hands‑on environment with plenty of ways to get involved. Like shopping? Fixing things? Hanging out in the hardware aisle? Combine your passions into a volunteer position at Habitat! When you help the ReStore, you help your community. Your support helps raise funds for Habitat homes. Please sign up for a ReStore orientation prior to your first shift volunteering with us! Many of the tasks include general housekeeping duties (such as organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.). You may help accept donations from customers, move items to the sales floor, and help customers take their purchased large items to their vehicles.
