Safe Families East Central Illinois Chapter

Safe Families for Children is a non profit organization dedicated to helping families in crisis.

Safe Families for Children works with families in crisis to keep their children out of the foster care system by providing host families, coaching and community/resource connections through a network of volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include hosting children in your home, friending a mom/dad in crisis (listening, providing rides, providing support etc), or providing resources (diapers, wipes, formula, clothes, etc). Volunteers must apply, pass a background check, and complete a brief training.
