This October, AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP of Fayette County is collecting new socks for neighbors experiencing homelessness and children in foster care — and we need your help!
Socks are one of the most needed but least donated clothing items. Something as simple as a fresh, warm pair can provide comfort, dignity and a little reminder that someone in the community cares.
Volunteers and community members can support Socktober by donating new socks throughout the month of October. Every pair helps us fill the basket and extend a little warmth to someone who needs it.
