Through the AmeriCorps RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), a 55 and older volunteer program, come help at the Senior Center in Aurora by calling Bingo, leading Matter of Balance, Bingosize, and many more opportunities! Help decorate for the different seasons, etc...
If you have a special skillset that you would like to bring to the Senior Center, please let us know! We have a volunteer who does an arts and crafts class. Maybe you could bring sewing, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, painting, karaoke, etc to the center! The center is open from 8am-4pm but volunteer time slots vary based on your availability.
Mileage reimbursement is available for eligible AmeriCorps RSVP volunteers.
