Through the AmeriCorps RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), a 55 and older volunteer program, come help in Yorkville at Caring Hands Thrift Shop.
Daily tasks include pricing, sorting, hanging, and placing donations out onto the sales floor, using the cash register, answering phones, assisting customers, etc...
The Shop is open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm but hours served by volunteer are based on volunteer's availability.
Mileage reimbursement is available for eligible AmeriCorps RSVP volunteers.
